Value Added Tax (VAT)

Purchases via Credit Card, PayPal, or Invoice

e3 Software does not collect Value-Added Tax (VAT) on Direct Mail purchases made through credit card, PayPal, or invoice. Instead, your business is responsible for accounting for VAT using the reverse charge mechanism. This means you must:

  • Calculate the VAT due based on your country's VAT rate.
  • Report and pay this amount on your VAT return as if you were the supplier.

Contact your tax advisor or local tax authority for guidance on applying the reverse charge correctly.

Purchases via the Mac App Store

If you purchase Direct Mail through the Mac App Store, Apple handles VAT differently:

  • Apple collects VAT on all App Store purchases.
  • The price displayed in the App Store includes VAT, so you won’t face additional charges at checkout.

For questions about VAT on App Store purchases, refer to Apple’s support resources or your tax advisor.
